Plant of the Month: Sudachi
Sudachi is a Japanese citrus which is used like Lemons and Limes. Sudachi features a mild and refreshing flavor, and is an ingredient for Ponzu (a soy-based dressing which is gaining in popularity in the States).
Besides the wonderful flavor, Sudachi's main attribute is its fruiting season, which falls into the months when Lemons and Limes are either too young or too old.
Add Sudachi to:
- Salad Dressing
- Cold Drinks (soft and hard)
- Marinade
